والي الخرطوم يتعهد لسكان أم درمان
متابعات _ الهدهد نيوز _ في خطوة تهدف إلى تعزيز استقرار الخدمات الأساسية وتحسين أوضاع سكان منطقة أبي سعد في أم درمان، أعلن والي ولاية الخرطوم أحمد عثمان حمزة عن دخول عدد من آبار المياه الخدمة خلال الأيام المقبلة، ضمن خطة طارئة لتوفير مياه الشرب للمواطنين في ظل التحديات المتزايدة في فصل الصيف.
وأكد والي الخرطوم التزام حكومته بتوفير الوقود اللازم لتشغيل هذه الآبار الحيوية، مشيرًا إلى أن توفير مياه الشرب يمثل أولوية قصوى ضمن جهود الولاية لتطبيع الحياة المدنية في مناطقها المختلفة.
وجاءت هذه التصريحات عقب جولة ميدانية قام بها الوالي لتفقد سير العمل في إعادة تأهيل عدد من محطات وآبار المياه في المنطقة، من بينها آبار مربعات (15) و(18) التي تُعد من المصادر الرئيسية للإمداد المائي في أبي سعد، والتي يعاني سكانها من شح مزمن في المياه منذ فترة.
وأكدت مصادر بإعلام الولاية أن الحكومة تسعى لتسريع وتيرة العمل في هذه المواقع، حرصًا على استباق الأزمات المحتملة في ظل ارتفاع درجات الحرارة، وضمان وصول المياه للمواطنين دون انقطاع.
وتعكس هذه الخطوة استجابة الحكومة المحلية لمطالب المواطنين المتكررة، الذين دعوا مرارًا لتحسين خدمات المياه، لا سيما في ظل تراجع إمدادات المياه بسبب مشاكل تشغيلية وتقنية تتعلق بغياب الوقود والصيانة.
وفي ظل الوضع الخدمي الهش الذي تعاني منه بعض مناطق الخرطوم، يعلق المواطنون آمالًا كبيرة على هذه الخطوات لتقليل المعاناة اليومية التي يعيشونها في الحصول على المياه، في وقت تتزايد فيه الضغوط على الخدمات العامة بسبب النزوح الداخلي والتوسع السكاني.

This initiative is part of an urgent plan to secure drinking water for citizens amid growing summer challenges.
The governor confirmed the state’s commitment to providing the necessary fuel to operate these crucial wells, emphasizing that water provision is a top priority in the broader effort to normalize civil life across the state.
These announcements followed a field inspection by the governor to assess progress on rehabilitating a number of water stations and wells in the area, including wells in Blocks 15 and 18, which are considered main sources of water supply in Abi Saad, where residents have long struggled with persistent shortages.
Sources from the state’s media office indicated that the government is working to accelerate progress on these water facilities in anticipation of potential crises due to soaring temperatures, aiming to ensure uninterrupted water access for the population.
This step reflects a direct response by local authorities to repeated calls from citizens demanding better water services, especially given the ongoing disruptions caused by fuel shortages and maintenance issues.
Amid a fragile service infrastructure affecting parts of Khartoum, residents are placing high hopes on these actions to ease their daily struggles with water access, at a time when public services face increasing pressure due to internal displacement and population growth.
